welcome to the farrago blog

So, as some of you will have seen from Facebook, I've started a little project for posting and sharing lyrics. I've decided that setting it up as a blog on the website is the best way to get it out there, so this is basically just a repetition of what you've already seen!
Good morning lovely people! Ian here. I've had quite a few requests recently from audience members to share my #lyrics with you so that's exactly what I'm going to do over the next few weeks/months. I'll also upload a pic to best illustrate the words and give them more context. As you might know already, the songs I write and perform, although politically flavoured (sometimes), are more observations of the beautiful, unforgiving, relentless, ever-evolving, awe-inspiring, bonkers, weird and wonderful world we live in - full of light and shade, sounds and dynamics, which I, with the help of my wonderfully talented band, try to reflect in the music.
Since I was a kid I have found #songwriting and poetry to the best way to process my deepest thoughts and feelings - which is why the lyrics tend to be quite weighty (I'm not in the habit of holding back). I hope you enjoy reading the words and connect with them in your own way. I'll post the first song later today. Please feel free to share, comment, discuss - it would be amazing to hear your thoughts. I hope you have a top day x
